hunch a bit as you’re approaching the rail, honestly a really hard trick to get proper lol. watch some welf or Noah footy, they both are some of the best handdraggers imo

it sounds dumb but you can practice in front of a mirror of jumping 90 and squatting and reaching for the ground. should help you visualize and pretty easy to tell the balance points. obviously a lot more goes into it on snow but a good starting point. especially since its still august lol.

Do yoga, practice just straight slides a lot until you can really adjust your body position

Safety slides are easier, try those first. And when ur learning don’t sit down as much, just bend over so ur weigh doesn’t get fricked
