@PartyBullshiit or someone brought this up on skimind thread. im starting to think they dont really intend to bring it to market but are trying to highlight their innovative thinking.
but its a trash design through and through. gonna be heavy as fuck and maneuverability will be pretty compromised. gonna need special brakes that will also be heavier to be a viable retention device that is required by law and thats not featured in these pics. elevating jerry for some falls poses a high safety risk for them. and the conditions you would want this in would be hard pack, chatter, or huge rowdy lines all of which you cannot afford to loose the control that i think you will in this design.
probably pairs well with a backpack speaker and a ruroc helmet though
i feel like the suspension will alter the way the heel piece releases and will make it extra challenging to set the din properly and release correctly. this thing is a fuckin lawsuit waiting to happen.
Why would you use shocks over a leaf spring in this situation? Oh yeah, because Wayne Wong and Anton already did that 15 years ago. So if a product with a lighter and arguably better design has already existed and failed (to my knowledge), what chance does this product have?
Imagine being so rich that you could just throw away money like this, are you even trying to come up with a good idea?

oldmanskiLooking at these things hurt the ligaments in my knees!
Your boot to ski control has left the chat and I can only imagine the additional weight.
And then the fact like @Rock_Inhabitant stated in the other thread, the rear shock is going to stab you in the back when you fall backseat.
I highly doubt these are being designed for the people who would be landing back seat or taking any kind of jump period. They’re looking more like groomer runners or just shitty surfaces.

High speed groomers are when boot to ski control matter most
Can easily see how this would benefit someone older who has leg or knee problems and just can’t take the impacts like they could in the past. If you have bad knees any impact can be extremely painful.

I like the idea of taking a perc then center mounting these to an old pair of wets and skiing all mountain week old chop without feeling anything. Also Ide change the suspension, put on a 6' lift and 32s.
