JalmarKalmarLooks like a Nightstick 97 to me.
powpatrolunleashed 98 ? aramada arv96 ti if you can find it. black crows camox. am sure there’s something you can find
Voyage86issue with all of those skis is the recommended mount point. I want something that is meant to be skied in the -0 to -3 range. those all got recs around -7 and i just don’t want to mount at +5
cmatlin22go check out the season nexus its a 104 in a 177 also got a 17m Radius kinda changes per sizing but i be gettin horizontal on it no metal but a nice solid consistent flex🤘🏽
LukeTheWaffleFaction Mana 2?
officechairCarving skis and park skis are fundamentally different in design. That’s why you have to make a sacrifice in an all mountain ski.

Voyage86good thing i don’t want a park ski, i’ve explained exactly what i want and how it could easily be made with zero sacrifices above. take a re read if it helps.
Voyage86some reviews talk about super catchy edges and not being able to ski it bases flat because it doesn’t track well. would you agree with that?
officechairI know. You want a park ski that skis like a carving ski or vice versa. Adding a little tip would still ski like the flat tail it’s based on. You would just be able to land switch and not spin back around.

Voyage86What is the compromise with that?
officechairIt would just be weird since it's a directional ski and the mount point is somewhat far back (-8 about). So it would become an okay carving ski that wouldn't ski switch as well as something else more intentionally designed to, but also doesn't carve as well as other skis designed to. I think it would be all around middle of the road.

bogustBlack ops 98, chargey carvey all mountain twin tip and pretty good in the park
maaatttIt's a Pollard ski so your supposed to turn it, but that said I haven't experienced anything like that on my nexus, really fun ski. You can lean it over super hard while still disengaging with ease.
Also "catchy edges" in a review just tells me the reviewer doesn't know how to detune contacts points
BallClapperI love your ideas and the concept seems well thought out. There are some skis like this on the market. Blackops 98 (now superblackops.) It's a hard charger and can lay an edge, my gripe with it is the swing weight. I think it would benefit greatly from a little more rocker and rossies air tip. Basically I wanna see a narrower sender free 110. (FANTASTIC SKI. I did a dumb and sized down to 184 because my local has tons of tight trees and mogul fields that could swallow a 3rd grader. Would defiantly have a 191 once I get my moola up as well.)
Voyage86thank you man. my issue with most of the skis that would fit the bill of a twin tip that carves great is the rec mount point, black ops 98 has a rec of -7 and im looking for somthing with a rec around -3. I been telling people they need to make a sender free 100. i loved the 110 when I demoed them, such a sick feeling of stiff yet poppy and damp and i could lean into them so hard. and the -3.5 rec mount is exactly what i’m looking for. I would buy a sender 100 or a 95 in a heart beat.
RanchcultureI’ve been riding the Fatypus M5 recently and it’s definitely my one ski quiver from now on. Had multiple days this year that started in the park and ended in the back bowls or vice versa. I believe the rec mount point is a lil farther back than what you had in mind but I’ve been riding true center and it’s been turning like a dream forward and switch. Would also suggest looking into the athlete stiffness option for a lil more stiffness with what you’re looking for, the base model is super fun but for someone hard charging the extra stiffness is a game changer.

JalmarKalmar102 coming for next season
BallClapperWhats great about the Blackops 98 is that it rides great -2. To me, recommended is merely a suggestion. Can't remember the last time I mounted a freestyle ski recommended.

SubstituteRossi BlackOps 98. I know you said something about metal laminate before, but just try the ski
edit: You can mount the BO98 at -3, idk if they changed the mount lines of the newer graphic, but my "Holyshred" graphics have 3 mount lines, one is at -3 from center, that's where I have them mounted and they rip all over.

tdolloSender Free 100 on the way for FW25
HometownerzI've been on Harvest Root Down 100s this season, maybe a touch softer than what you're looking for but they rail turns. I got them as a park ski but ended up doing a lot of freeridey stuff on them and I've been pleasantly surprised. The 187 also measures like 189 so thats cool.
BallClapperPhotos? Is it currently disguised as something else. I know about the sender soul. Convinced a local shop to get a demo shipped to them so I could ride it early.
Voyage86recommended mount point is -7
tdolloSender Free and Sender Soul are different lines
Voyage86oh man, twig isn’t gana be happy to hear that. his roof box review talked about the catchy edges. i wasn’t to worried about it so it’s reassuring to hear that from you. did you end up detuning the contact points?

BallClapperSender soul. A little more tail rocker than the directional sender 106.
