Replying to Boot/Binding Compatibility Issues

mjkuby12:
Recently I purchased a pair of K2 Revolve TW boots and had the shop set up the boots to the skis. The next day I found a wiggle side to side in my Tyrollia Attack 14 toe piece which was quite unnerving while skiing. Took it to multiple different shops who all made sure the toe height and forward pressure were set properly. What we ended up finding was the toe block on the boot was like 1mm narrower than every other boot on the market making it wiggle side to side in the binding toe piece and fail a release test. Taking it back to the original bootfitter/shop, he pulled out a calipers and started taking measurements of a bunch of different boots. We found a general trend across all boot brands. As a shell size got smaller, the toe block also got narrower. However, my specific shell size (25.5) in the Revolve TW was the narrowest out of any that we measured. I had the shop reach out to K2 for me and K2 basically denied responsibility and claimed that the boots were still within tolerance. Tyrollia also did the same thing. Because of this issue, the shop came through and took the boots back giving me a full refund.

Has anyone else had issues with of this combo of the Revolve TW (25.5) and Attack 14? Just wanted to make the core of the Full Tilt users aware of this before someone else gets screwed when they update their boots. Been a lurker for a while and finally decided to create an account to share.
