That time. Leaving the 14th to Tahoe. Of course I’ll be stopping by the mother land and getting my yearly indoctrination of Moment information uploaded directly to my brain so I can continue to make you all happy by recommending a new pair of moments that’s just right for you!
Weather is having a heat wave while I’m there so bringing the meridians and chipotle blades for some slush sessions.
as always I’ll keep you all monsters updated along the way. Some of you enjoy it, some of you hate it. Either way you’re feeling something.
Flights checked in. Bags are packed. Have a stop in Denver tomorrow, looks like it’s going to be dumping when I land there. Hopefully no issues with delays.
Where you riding? Tahoe has so many good options. Even if you're on a pass its cool to check out a couple other places. Also just got snow, and weather has chilled the fuck out. Hope it's a good one

Palisades and heavenly at this point. May make it over to kirkwood
have you skied heavenly before? it is totally fine but kirkwood is way sicker for terrain and northstar is way sicker for park and top speed groomer runs. definitely worth checking out all 3 if you have time. will be at kirkwood this afternoon for the first time since that big storm we just had 10 days ago. they didn't report nearly as much snow as the basin resorts did but their coverage was already very good.

Ya many times. I always stay at heavenly village so that’s why I hit up heavenly as well
bennwithtwonshell yeah. not a bad choice to be so close to getting on the snow. plus, you're basically equidistant from NS and KW if you decide to venture
I get employee rate at the two Marriott properties on either side of the gondola. So it’s a no brainer for me. $100 a night for a 1 bedroom with full kitchen
Rain? Kinda crazy. Isn't Denver supposed to be the mile high city. I know that there is pressure and some science stuff but I always find it interesting going to different mountains and the bases are different heights (above sea level) and have different snow depths. Yeah it has to do with storms and stuff but it's interesting. Bet this will make me sound like a dumbass.

Finally got out of Denver. Bunch of de icing then a pretty chill flight. Evidently everyone is cancelling their trips because of this “storm” we had 70 peeps on our flight to Reno.
Another day in the books. Did a little over 30 miles on the blades. Woke up to a massive line for the gondola. That sucked. At closing they had a dope made for me event called “brews and views” craft beers and samples at the lake view lodge. Good time. Was a tad cold in the AM then got hot as fuck. I was sweating like crazy. Spotted some moments in the wild
Fuck me. You don’t realize how much of a work out fucking blades are till the next day. Woke up sore as fuck. Wasn’t feeling it at all today. But there’s snow to be skied so I’m up and skiing.
conditions were weird. Cold as fuck then hot as fuck. Icy then slushy as fuck. Busted out the meridians again today. They hated the icy morning again but ripped the chopped up slushy crud.
Another day in the books. It’s getting warm as fuck and everything’s turning to slush. Meridians were very happy with the conditions. They just plow through slush went over to south lake brewery. Was pretty good. Met the owner of apocalypse brewing inKY. Super nice guy. Need to make my way out there.
Another warm fucking day. Busted out the blades again. So much fun until they’re not. They really don’t love the soft soft snow. Especially the slush area. So little tip they want to dive when the snow gets slow and grabby
meats for dinner. Made a sautéed garlic butter sauce for the potato and steak.
Today was stupid hot. Everything was just slushy shit. I brought out the blades again and instantly regretted it. Was just waiting to blow something up in my legs. Thankfully made it through all good. Weather is supposed to get snowy and cold. Pasta and Alfredo pork sauce for dinner
If I hadn’t already planned a trip to Utah this weekend I would for sure have gone to Kirkwood to witness the blade shred king in person. Keep the updates coming!
