Noob question on swapping bindings

I managed to break the brake piece on my park skis last season and here in Europe have been unable to find a replacement piece for sale.


I have a second older pair of skis with the same, albeit older, model of Marker Griffon bindings (I know). Can I swap the heel and toe pieces between the skis without having to do a full re-mount?

Griffon brakes are a separate piece, you should find replacements for like 5-10€/pair and they are pretty easy to swap if you just broke them.
If you broke the whole back piece, it might ve harder to fix. The toe pieces are straight up screwed to the ski so swapping them is not possible. Heel pices slide on a track so no idea about them.

I would do it. Assuming its the whole piece and not just the brakes, which are an easy fix, Just carefully unscrew the broken heelpiece, put some wood glue in, and then screw the replacement heelpiece in place. Adjust the bindings, and voila- good to go.


unless theyre significantly older bindings.

griffon heel piece is on a plastic rail that is screwed to the ski, so the heel piece itself is not screwed at all
