use a sanding drum on a Dremel, a flap disc on a grinder, a round chainsaw file, or any other file you can find, it literally does not matter. just round over the edges underfoot and youre good to slide
I just use a gummy stone and don't get too aggressive. Once it's not sharp on my bare skin that's plenty for me. The rails will do the rest.
I came up in tune shops - I would see so many people go apeshit on the detune and have no edge left to tune back if they ever wanted some grip for the rest of the mountain.
Don't overdo it is my point here...
Mill bastard file is by far the easiest way to get that edge rounded, use a stone to clean up burs after the initial dulling. Also if you get a 2º base and 1º edge bevel at a shop you'll slide better on rails without having to dull as much. Dull the most binding to binding and everywhere else depending on how much you ski out of the park.
If you want something you can easily fit in your bag/pocket, get a medium/coarse swix diamond stone.
i used metal file until my edges were dull enough were I could drag my fingernail on the edge without it shaving off then used gummy stone to get rid of inperfections
A normal hand file at the hardwear store. Mid grit. Find the finest one, then the corsest and pick the one in between.
Its really not rocket science; just round the edges and feel it for smoothness with your hands.
