Even skiing with lifts like if you carbo load and don't drink the night before, you can ski hard af bell to bell. Your muscles might feel it after but you won't run out of gas (probably)

Most grocery stores have a bakery that has a sourdough starter batch it keeps going like the Olympic flame. They take a bit to make each day's fresh bread and have a process to keep the starter fed
