So im planning on hopefully getting new boots this summer, stepping into a whole size down (from 29.5 to a 28.5). Ive got last years sth2 16 mounted to my 29.5’s right now. My question is if i get a new size boot will i have to get my bindings remounted to fit the new boot size or it just an easy adjustment i can do myself? Thanks fellas, have a good summer

As long as they were mounted correctly (in the center of the adjustment range) you should be able to go up or down a full size without remounting. Sth2 might even be able to move 2 sizes… if I remember right the Solomon bindings have a bigger range than others.

They’re listed at 28mm adjustability, so +/-14mm from center (assuming bindings are mounted at middle of adjustability like above mentioned). You should be fine, but check BSL of new boots to be sure.

should be fine. When a boot is set to a jig, the binding tends to be mounted in the middle of the adjustment range
