I won’t tolerate this. I appreciate that you were trying to defend me, but you can’t be spreading misinformation.
There are two kinds of momentum, linear and rotational. In the original post, I was referencing the linear momentum that a skier has to kill when they land a massive drop.
skiermanTell me, how do you rotate without momentum?

Not a good idea. Your knees are meant to break before your skis. If you have this, you'll break all your skis! Imagine going to power nollie and SNAP goes your core from the all the boost

Mad good point, I would much rather lose my knee than my HG's or 9's.
Vish-shoeImpossible to have an good idea that hasn’t already been done these days smh
Man I feel you on this. I'm always jotting down ideas and always finding out they exist already. Some big, some small. Just gotta run with it. Sometimes it's market timing or being first and other times it's how you advertise your product. Shit I just noticed that digital rear view mirrors are becoming popular; thought of that idea a solid 5-10 years before this was even a thing as a way to improve visibility for semis (https://www.arirobot.com/2020/12/11/digital-rearview-mirror-for-the-automotive-market/).
You still might have an idea here. If they had a scalable, affordable, great idea then you'd expect it to be more popular. Doesn't mean you can't improve off of the concept and market better as long as you don't copy their design. It really depends what patents they have. Also depends on the age. Tablets existed well over a decade (Google gridpad) before they became popular but initial companies scrapped the idea due to lack of demand. Your idea might be ahead of time.
The other day the homies and I were talking about how the terminal velocity of a squirrel is so low that they can survive a fall from any height and be totally fine.
