Are spliffs an essential part of skiing culture? I think so, but how do they compare to darts?

I have a little story about this I guess. In 2022 I blazed everyday before riding. One day for whatever reason, me and my homie didn’t blaze and we both rode like total dogshit. A couple laps later going up the lift I said to him “Yo we didn’t smoke and all of a sudden we’re riding like garbage, I think I gotta go smoke the spliff of enlightenment or some shit to re-align my ski chakras” and thus, my first edit title was born from an off the top lift convo.

Darts are just for ppl who just want a gross ass mouth without any actual benefits.

The Olympic comittee classifies cannabis as a sports enhancing drug. Not condoning anything, or being a bad influence.... mods are pot-aphobic , and ski industry will destroy ski careers because of cannabis use...

If a spiff means combining tobacco, you are doomed by big tobacco.

i will say for any sort of physical activity or anything that takes some brain power , spliffs>straight weed all day. Somethin about that nicotine THC combo. If i am just smoking joints on hill I can feel lethargic or start to get nervous/overthink, especially if i am sipping beers too.

Also though I barely even smoke anymore.

weird tangent but i know someone who used to yell “i do cocaine, like an adult” when he was drunk and on cocaine and lemme tell ya, thats not the way.

Good to know Im not the only one. Same with booze.

I chose to ride sober. Not riding at my best pisses me off. I used to ride stoned, but the. stunts would scare me too much. The feeling isnt as pure.
