yes, If u go to china lift looking right theres a couple 15-20 cliffs, good for slushy or powder days, also I know theres 1 or 2 good ones on the left but they had some big mountain comp going on. they were filming off those two big ass rocks at the bottom
also if u go on the left side going up you can find a couple 10 foot drops in the trees it's easy to never find them again though

Pretty much each of the back bowls has a cliff zone somewhere. Rasputin's is sick if it's open and conditions are right (it gets the sun). You can pretty much go any direction from the top of Blue Sky (not from the Pete's side) and find all sorts of cliff zones. Don't sleep on the front side either - Northwoods has plenty of cliffs too. Fortunately, a lot of the cliff zones are easy to spot from trails/chairs, so you shouldn't have a problem finding them.
If you're looking for the perfect hit (for filming or something) and don't mind a short hike, take the poma lift in Mongolia bowl and at the top look left and hike to the resort boundary sign (very short hike). From the top, you can hike/walk/ski to the left (back towards the start of the poma but still up high) and hit any of those cliffs, which range from 10-15ft and are never tracked out. Basically, as you're going up the Poma lift, look to your left - you can hit any of those cliffs - the resort used to shoot commercials of people hitting them
not many with steep landings. most of the good ones are on lover's leap plus a select few on north rim. besides that you're looking at some slackcountry ones and i'm too lazy to draw you a map.
that said you should definitely send the ones at the top of rasputin's as deep as you can and post the vid.
CoolChillGuy420If you have to ask then you have no business hitting them.
get out of the lineup kook, you're not welcome here bro, locals only bro mahalo you flatlanders wouldn't get it bro kook mahalo bro bro kook brooo mahalo
will.irwinplanning to do that too, and suggestions for there?
Gonna give you two popular ones, one on left is Buttcrack and then three bears on the right, don’t pussy out and ski out the chute. You can still make it to three bears without a beacon, just gotta traverse a bit.
Bring a beacon, most of the rad shit is out of normal ski area, but you can find drops everywhere really, and from Pierre’s knob you can see them straight from the chair. Hollywood is a kicker type drop rn and launches yah.
Not just the ones mentioned here, but there’s some hidden features too all scattered along the front side. Tons of side hits off the pride chair 26 and a huge snow drop with the right speed off of lodgepole/berries. There’s a cliff in the trees by the sourdough chair skiers left before the steeper drop and the bottom. Few table top features(one buy wildwood and one by pride. Then there’s also the entire zone of seldom but for any cliffs in the bowls, you gotta pay attention to the snow quality. January, should be fine, but late feb, March when it’s not warm, all you get is sheet ice if a deep system hasn’t moved through. There’s a couple story clips from Walker woodring hitting up the zone in seldom. Also the famous cliffs at the bottom of south rim that has been a staple for aerial events for years and has history of people flipping them when vail used to ban riders who flipped. It was a protest to that. Mainly south rim and first step area. There’s always the drop on mudslide if you wanna feel like you’re back on the east coast or maybe jump a couple of the features on frontside chutes. If you’re looking for a core shot. Go there. Also look for the cliff bands below the bowl in blue sky inbetween iron mask and little Ollie. Couple jumps off of resolution. Then there’s some stuff off of prima cornice. I’ve said too much but vails already busy enough. No really hidden spots inbounds from lift access.
