Need some tips!!

Ski as much as possible

Push yourself homie (within reason of course)! I finally got over my mental block this year and started to ski rails and spin more than 180 (or attempt to). You gotta be realistic with yourself which helps to push it to progress but not so much that you'll get hurt yanno? Having friends who are similar level or even nice homies around the mountain definitely helps too, (big shout to @Mixy for hyping me up when we ski) people getting hype for you or helping you by showing you something you're working on helps a ton

One thing I think a lot of people undervalue is groomer skiing before hitting the park. Find a nice open trail dig those edges in and focus on making clean carves. I respect anyone who has a lot of talent in the park but its even cooler if you look confident outside of the park.

As a former ski instructor, racer, late bloomer park rat and lifelong freerider, here's my take-

As a beginner, ski a lot and with friends. Seat time is crucial, and just enough technique to make sure you aren't cementing bad habits. The social pressure of sucking, well, sucks, but sticking to it will help you progress fast.

Once you're intermediate/advanced, try to learn technique and emulate others. You don't need to ski any specific style, but every technique you learn is another tool in the box. This is where you hone in on fundamental skills that will help you build for the rest of your time skiing.

At expert/pro level you really need to dial in your risk tolerance and mental game. Simply skiing more has plateaued, and as a top skier, there are diminishing returns on what you can learn by just emulating others. This is where an honest assessment of your own strengths and weaknesses, and a plan to compensate for or use them fully really pays dividends.
