K2 Press + Head Attack 11 GW for next season (and more to come)

next season I am thinking about getting K2 Press 169 and head attack 11 gw. My parents don't want to spend too much money so tried to find a setup that will be durable and last me a couple seasons. I am going to pitch in some money too because it's still a little more what they wanted to pay. Anything I should know about either of these?

those look sick and huge sale, but in ontario could be tough to get without paying crazy shipping. Might go to corbetts in oakville to see since they have great deals.

Try to find the Attack 13/14 if you can. The 11 is much more a beginner's binding. They only have deeply discounted sets at Corbets with wide brakes 110mm and up right now.

It’s a good setup if your on a budget sure. The attack 11 has a higher stack height (meaning you stand higher off the ski) than the attack 13 but it’s not a huge deal especially if your just starting out.

looks good but i'd try to bump that attack 11 up to an attack 12/13/14, the 11s are built a little differently as kids' bindings. if you keep your eye out you should be able to find them for just a little bit more than those 11s. tell your parents 11s aint competition bindings and solid bindings = safety

This year's Squires? 11s? They are supposed to be much improved from prior years, still very light but with improved durability. I'll wait for shop techs to chime in on whether or not that is true.

If you have a metal file or a Dremel you can absolutely do it at home. There are a few good how-to videos. I'll try to link one later.
