As if we can’t see exposed edge underfoot haha. On a separate note it bums me out that this is the aspect of snow share that gets the most traction on here. Like it’s a really cool idea, non profit too, shame that the most unscrupulous people get posted the most . Would probably be better if someone just made Delusional Resellers thread
Who the fuck orders custom skis and sticks with the ugly-ass mango topsheets??? Cat Camo, Filthy Rich, Wrenegades, Kartels, and like 100 other options are better.
-DanTook em down. Sorry, I didn’t know how much new cost
Not your fault at all your doing all this for free and it’s a lot of posts a day honestly I think some of the people reposting should have more of a brain than to try not profit off of other skiers who are smart enough to know they’re getting ripped off.
Not snow share related but I think this would be a good place to ask some questions about some skis in thinking of buying. Their Vishnu 177 wets no edge cracks, no noticeable core shots with look pivot bindings center mounted for a 27.5 boot. The seller offered a price of 475 plus shipping would be around 525. In a little worried about the age of the skis I believe this model is like 5 or 6 years old the seller said the skis only have around 30 days on them. I already bargained and this is the price the seller is landing on for minimum. Do you guys think this is a good deal. I’m looking for a strict park oriented ski because my wide on3p Jeff’s are kinda heavy. Let me know your thoughts?

It’s an ok price
Personally I’d rather spend an extra $200 for an all new setup or spend $200 less on a older higher mileage setup.

Also I understand that pivots have an adjustment range for boot sizes on the heel piece would I have a problem adjusting the heel piece to a 28 boot instead of the sellers 27.5 or would I have to do a remount.

Usually pivots have about a 9mm total range of adjustment. Ask the seller what their BSL and compare it to yours. This could slightly change where your boot center would be compared to the ski center though.

Yes bsl I know what that is but as a coincidence my friend does not so maybe you could explain that to him.

you will have to remount your not getting a full size of adjustment from pivots, quite frankly not worth it especially with all the end of season deals just get a new setup
armchair_skierI want to give away my old gear for low cost / free but don’t want to see it flipped on sno share
Ask for pics of their beat up set up that your gear would be replacing. Can even specify in listing that the most busted or oldest skis/pants/boots/whatever will get yours.

all things considered this is a pretty good deal if you're into touring. $600 bindings $900 skis and $200 skins used for only ten days. If I was a touring bro I'd definitely buy that.
