Haven’t logged in in a long time. Thought you guys might appreciate this. I don’t like the ergonomic style handles on snow scoops; it means you can’t push with your hips when shoveling heavy or wet snow. My solution was to chop it up with a grinder and then stick on some bike grips and weld it back together with my cheap flux core welder. Final step was some spray paint and ski stickers. Now I have a super efficient and way more comfortable to use scoop. Building booters and clearing the driveway just got way more fun👍. Anyone else have some shove mods they like?
ps final mod I might do is adding a kick bar out of a piece of cheap rebar on the top of the scoop so I can kick it when hitting ice; we’ll see if I get to it.
