Not sure if that link will work but 184 poacher weighs 2094g and the 180 Bdog weighs 1998g so a bit different but not too much considering the length difference. The 177 poacher is 2037, but is closer in length to the 180 bdog than the 184 poacher.

For reference that's a 1/4lb difference or less. I highly doubt people can notice a difference.... BUT they always say they can so I wonder if the perception has more to do with swing weigt and dampness than the actual weight of the ski? Just a thought. Always found it weird people worrying about a

If you follow that link and scroll all the way to the bottom, you will find some histograms. The purpose of them is to show how a ski compares with respect to similar skis (defined as +-5cm long and +-5mm wide for now). It shows how many skis have certain specs. If you look at the mass histogram, you see this:
So both of these skis are roughly in the upper 30% of the skis out there. For similar lengths and widths, most skis will be lighter (by as much as 900g) and very few will be heavier (by maybe 300g at most). On that scale, the poacher and the bdog are relatively similar in their mass. Some other specs are much more different between these two skis, like sidecut radius, tail taper length, etc.

I appreciate both of your combined intellects, I understand what I have to do
SofaKingSicki bet you used a "less than" or "greater than" symbol, which can cut off your post on NS for some reason
Nah I didn't. Sometimes my mobile browser doesn't like NS and cuts off entire sections of posts. I usually double check em but forgot. What's left is basically all I was trying to say.
Heavy but you get used to it. If you’re a triple swapping tech dude maybe stay away.
Stiff asf until midway through second szn they were noticeably softer
Mine lasted 3 szns, 1 of which was urban. So they are durable af
I don’t turn. So idk about that.
8/10 for me personally. I need 191’s tho so i’ll never buy them again
They’re not stiff af. I could manual for a kilometer straight (0.621 miles) and buttering is easy too, just gotta know how. Don’t be scared of their weight or stiffness if you’re not looking for a playful ski anyways. For reference I’m on the lower end of average weight and my poachers are about the same height as me.

Lol wym they arent stiff. As far as park skis go they are on the stiffer side 100%. I never said u can’t butter them, but the rocker is what makes them butterable, not the flexibility of the ski. Especially straight out the box because like I said, they do soften up after a while. How are poachers not considered stiff when theres danollies, wet/wides, reck 102’s, and bdog or edollos just to name a few
Tried out my friends poachers a few times and they def do feel heavy, not too bad tho very solid feeling skis and the rocker makes them a bit more playful.
the first month of having poachers i hated them, they felt clunky and big for their size. almost felt like a pow ski. after some time i got used to them and they felt amazing. the weight and clunky issue only last a week or so, after that it's great. lil bit like a break in. would have continued to ski mine if i didn't break two sets of bindings on them and sold them to a buddy
lil.Boyepoachers could probably survive nuclear war.

That's one of the reasons I was looking at them. I ain't trying to have a ski blowup mid season
I have a pair and I love mine. They're a little heavier compared to other skis but they feel very solid underfoot when I want them to be. That being said I can still butter and press on both the noses and the tails. After 2 seasons on them they are still in great condition and still have stability underfoot.
