Tyrolia Attack broken heel plate query

Just come back from a ski trip and noticed that the right 1/3rd of my heel piece is missing. The heelpiece still seems stable with a boot in and the screws are fine, is there anything to worry about here / has this happened to anybody else or are they fine to ride?

I think the plastic is for aesthetics are the screw is connected via the metal tray. I’m sure someone will chime in though

Yeah that was pretty much the conclusion I reached, couldn’t see any obvious mechanical defects other than potentially being marginally less stable without a boot in but good to know I’m not the only one who reached that conclusion aha

The plastic in the heel track is aesthetic. As long as the heel screws are flush, you should be OK. Mounting those are a PITA, cuz customers always complain that the plastic doesn't go flush with the ski and I have to explain that the screw is flush and that's all that matters.

That said, how old are they? How did they get broken?

Ok sweet, good to know

ive ridden them 2 weeks over 2 years (thx covid) so not old at all. I have no idea how they broke, just noticed it at the end of a trip so presumably on a slam where I majorly overcooked a backy (/not claim it really hurt)
