Looking to buy J skis for next year, Debating between Allplays and Vacation. How do the flexes compare? And do they ski park well if mounted true center? Have ARV 96 rn and like them just want something a little softer. Any thoughts?

could be wrong but don’t think all plays are softer than 96s
KCoCMbut this is saying the all play is less stiff in both metrics than the vacation? i think it’s common knowledge that’s not the case
Good point. The graph above displays the average value. They are different, but not by much. The average values don't tell the full story. You have to consider that the "average value" is weighing down all point along the ski equally. This make the center section more important than it is and doesn't provide exactly the same info as when you hand flex a ski. What you feel on snow is coming a lot from the tip/tail.
For more details, you can look at the stiffness distribution. You can see that the allplay tip/front is almost 2x stiffer. However the Vacation is stiffer in the center section and aft section.
These two skis also have very different geometries (huge rocker vs a more traditional tip shape). This can change how "stiff" a ski feel on the snow.
“I know that it is only 2 cm longer but you could consider a Vacation in 186 cm. A bit wider and stiffer for more stability, while stilling be soft and playful for park laps and butters. Plus it offers more float in powder!“
I emailed them a while back and this is what they had to say

They told me the same saying the Vacation is stiffer than the Allplay after I mentioned the them that everyone unanimously says the Vacation is so dang soft.
They also have the Vacation rated stiffer on their flex chart than the Allplay.

The all plays are honestly pretty soft. Never skied the vacation but I’d imagine they’re somewhere around twice as stiff. Both would be fun and playful but in their own ways.
