Chest Rig instead of Backpack?

New member here. Does anyone have any experience of skiing with a chest rig instead of a backpack? Thinking of trying one out to store GoPro, point and shoot camera, mini tripod, mounts, snacks, etc. Would be awesome to hear any pros and cons if anyone has tried this out before. Cheers

More like what a ski patroller has to store radios etc. but more substantial

Check out WhatVest or other similar vest setups. I use them for work as a coach and I personally love how easy it is to throw avy gear/GoPro/HandyCam/lunch in them. Im also super used to skiing with a pack or a vest at this point so Im used to the uncomfortability at times but its worth checking out. I like how they have radio mounts on them

I think a fly fishing front pack would work well...Simms, fishpond and patagonia have good options. I only have experience fishing with them though and not skiing, but they would probably be able to fit what you named.
