How do I jump while riding switch?

So confused by this motion. Any time I initiate pop or a jump while riding switch I immediately start catching an edge and have to revert or fall.

im comfortable going edge to edge switch and switching what foot I drop back/shoulder I look behind. Can also land switch off of most shit comfortably

just confused on the motion I’m supposed to do. My skis are mounted for all mountain and are like -4/-5cm from true center if that makes any difference

Wym, like setting up my stance for the jump too early?

how do I set a jump stance while one leg is dropped back? Do I bring it back forward so legs are parallel before popping?

What I mean is, I think you’re starting your rotation too soon. Probably catching your outside ski, be patient when you approach the lip.

You can stagger your stance but I like to keep my skis even because I’m not as flexible. Both ways work.

Oh, you’re working on popping an ollie while riding switch in the flat.

I think those are pretty uncommon because of how difficult they are. I can’t say I’ve ever seen or done one because the switch stance kind of negates being able to pop well. I’d probably be loosing my balance too.

opening up my shoulder a bit as I set for butters or switch airs has helped me out lately.

99.9% of skiers can't. My buddy Ronny can tho, he's fuckin sick. Ronny frequents the strip clubs after skiing, I wanna be like Ronny. He's the man. This 1 time he downs a whole bottle of jack daniels before doing this really big switch ollie on a run called "Par 6" the way he caught air off of basically nothing, while riding in the backwards stance. Amazing, I think the strip club being on his mind helps, he tends to have a perma boner making his weighting very forward; you know how cats can do all sorts of maneuvers because of their tail? That's Ronny. when he rides switch his tail boner allows him to send his switch ollies to the mooon. I'm so amazed about the human body, Ronny's specifically, quite the specimen.
