Mounting help

Yo mounting my pivots tomorrow, just to check I have 302mm and 301mm boots, should I place the template with 300mm or 305mm?

Yeah these are the better templates. Make sure your scaling is at 100% when printing. I don’t really think the mounting has changed for the bindings but double check that the holes match up by overlaying the bindings over the template. Check how far your heels are screwed down. Pivots only have 10mm adjustability so that’ll help you decide if you should mount 300 or 305 bsl

left out my text thats weird, I meant to say I did print the 2005 or lower template and placed it on my skis, thank god I noticed that it was the wrong one and now I have to print that 2010 or newer, the heel pattern is little different on the 2005 or older

I dunno man, template is 300mm now should i stick with this 300mm or move it to 305mm

Take a photo of your pivot heel arms

Also measure your actual boots, sometimes the number printed on the heel can be off by a few mm.

The boot heel sits further back in a pivot vs other bindings

I placed the front binding on the tempate and boot on it and then the 300mm looked about right somehow, so i just sended with that and they are perfect. Thanks for the help, first time mounting but not last. Fun stuff doing it yourself. Hopefully i did not tighten the screws too much by hand and they are fine and stay on the skis :D

Hell yeah! I think you’re fine with the screws - you can feel when they hit the bottom or they just keep spinning 😂

PS your place looks very Finnish 😃
