Do’s and dont’s of Breckenridge

Headed to Breckenridge March 4th. Never been before. Any tips and tricks of what to see what to avoid? Going for 5 days looking to ski 2/3 days then explore the town / snowmobile the other days. Any ideas from some experienced Colorado skier/riders?

get there early to get free parking and book your ass to the tbar or imperial or any of the peaks, average kooks gonna be there at like 10 and parkings gonna be a shit show.

Do:
- ski horseshoe from the t bar
- hike from imperial
- get high as balls and ski windows first thing in the morning
- get a sandwich from Duggan's Deli
- get breakfast at daylight


Don't:
- park in town
- stop if the yellow jackets tell you to
- kiss any of the girls you meet at Cecilia's
- take advice from TheMoostafian

Mi Casa is in the middle of town and has bomb margs and is relatively cheap.

Best thing to do is get that free parking early because it’s a cramped bus ride, then try to get high up fast. Maybe like one run down to the Colorado chair and then go up. Least crowded spots tend to be the E-Chair, and that’s about it, but the high bowls are nice as fuck. Horseshoe and the lake chutes are nice. Just sucks my only time down the lake chutes we’re not ideal conditions just to say I skied em lmao, but other stuff like whale tail and the high alpine above peak 7 are nice too. Six senses look sick but the trek is long if you’re more of a lift guy. I wanna get up there sometime though.

Breck lies about their snow report. Chair 6 and Imperial will have lots of snow, everywhere else will have half of what they report

The line at Rocky Mountain is always shorter than Colorado and it gets you to the T-bar quicker

Stay the fuck away from Peak 9 base

Follow 4 o'clock run to village ski back trail or wait an hour to get on the gondi at end of day

If you are staying in town don't bother driving anywhere, it's a clusterfuck

Don't go out drinking first night in town.

Do ski across peaks up high, base area lift lines are death.

Don't use 5-chair for hot laps on Fri-Sat.
