Hey. I need new skis and ive been thinking surfaces give'r or royale. Problem is, there isnt much info from users on those (or i just didnt find it). I ride only park and like 70% of the time on rails so durability is a big question. Also taking suggestions which skis should i take give'r or royale? Ive had 2 pairs of honey badgers and one pair of majesty vandals that all have lasted a season. So if someone has some knowledge i would need it thanks :D

As far as I have heard the durability is somewhere between on3p and vishnu
I've tried other people's surfaces and I liked them alot did a few park laps and they all felt solid. There is one really weird pair of surfaces that are shaped like an. I'll upload a picture

It all depends on if you want to dip into the trees/do some light free ride/pow skiing or if you just want to stick to the park. I have a pair of givers, and they rip. I can ski them in the park all day, but if I want to, I can ski the trees and have good control in there. Also, the givers are good for about boot deep powder, I’ve found. If you’re riding only park tho, it’s not necessary to do any of those things, so you’d want a ski more specifically designed for park, rather than all mountain. As far as durability goes, I just started riding the givers this szn, and they’ve held up great for a solid ten days of rails, jumps, and a few cliffs. I would go for the Royale if I were you.

I almost ordered myself royales but ordering page kinda gave me sketchy vibes so i did some research about their shipping and there was a lot of negative stuff on that topic. People not getting skis for months, not receiving any confirmation emails and them not answering if you try to contact. So im really skeptical about ordering but how was your experience or do you know more about the topic?
LogiThe outsider? They discontinued that model, and all other of those three stage rocker skis, no one was buying them I guess.
It's a real shame because everyone I know with One Lifes/Outsiders absolutely loves them. I've been bashing the shit out of mine since 2013 and they can ski hardpack, groomers, chop, pow, steeps, moguls, shitfuck, really anything. They were the first new pair of skis I bought myself from my first job in high school and were on sale for $250. I'm currently using them as a rock ski but honestly with how low tide the past few seasons have been they are pretty much a daily driver, they have extruded bases so they are absoluetly useless in hot spring slush, but are much easier to repair and have accumulated 30+ core shots.
I really want to get a pair of last season's Outsiders but I don't ski enough anymore to justify more skis.

Haven’t heard anything about this, but I can’t say I’m not surprised, something seems a little messy about surface’s ordering system. However, I did order givers on pre order in September with no problems, I received a conformation email and got the skis when they started mass-manufacturing and shipping them out (about a month after I pre-ordered them).

Yeah I don’t totally know why they discontinued them. They seemed like a really fun ski

I have royales. 2022 model. It is my favorite ski ive ever owned. I have always wanted flexibility in a ski and they nailed it. Light for rails and perfect for jibbing. Ones downside is big park jumps, you have to land on your boots and have good balance. If you land back seated while landing switch the ski will act like jelly. Honestly i dont really do crazy jump tricks i j focus on rails heres a clip on me buttering on em https://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/1025626/trim-A3A6B84C-FBD9-4E99-A41D-C1DAB373D4BB-MOV
SlitherySnakethe balance looks like that but it’s discontinued too
they have the flat rocker tech or whatever it’s called you can see the hinge point in the pics
I don't think it is these ones. The ones I tried had way more rocker like he could lean forward and be on his rocker but it was like flat and like I don't really like know of like that makes any like sense but like yeah

It was 2020 when I tried them and I'm pretty sure they were different and he said they were discontinued when I tried them so. Idk maybe I have a fuzzy memory.

I've ordered 3 pairs of skis from them, t-shirts and poles. All came in expected amount of shipping time prob like 5-7 business days.
