Pivot help

Yo guys!
Need help to choose binding, I know theres a lot of info and have surfed a lot on here, but would like someone to help me still.
Never bought gear brand new, this year had a chance and bought surface upper 184, 105 underfoot and now I'm wondering about pivot 12s and 14s.
Im 5'9 and 176lbs, not a big jump guy, mainly rail/urban skier, can't hit big jumps cause broken ankle.
so does the pivot 12 cut it or should I go for the 14? read something about din sweet spot in the middle of din range and I usually ride 9.5-10din.
Also I think I should get 95mm brakes on the 105 underfoot, right?

I’m about your size and have pivot 12s on a 9.5 din. They work great. I ski park and all mountain. I’ve hit some pretty big jumps on the P12s and I’m fine. The toes and construction are same in 12/14 but the 14 has a stronger spring. I’m fairly confident you would be in same din window as me so you’ll be fine with 12s but go with your gut

Sweet spot rule is a lie created and propogated in ski forums; a conspiraski would be that the binding manufacturers started that rumor to sell more expensive higher din bindings (jk...or am I...). The bindings will release as advertised at any range of the window. If ur trying to save money and don't anticipate you'll ever go up past that din range, then go for the 12's. Also 95 size is good, ur right.

95s will be fine I've seen people put 95s on 106s and 12s are good unless you think you may go higher at some point. I got 15s but only cuz I wanted a certain color (gold)
