How to get use to heavier skis

I just switched from line skis to K2 skis, the K2 skis have a higher swing weight and feels weirder. How long does getting use to switching from light skis to heavier skis?

Just ski . They'll feel wierd at first but you'll get used to them after a couple days.

I switched from wets to poachers (I ride wets rn tho) and I actually didn't notice much of a difference until I switched back to wets. My advice is just to not overthink it and just ride them. I'm sure you'll be able to adapt and your legs will get used to the feeling

This is actually great advice in general, but your new skis are probably more stable than your old ones so you should take advantage of that and ski faster lol

Duct tape some bricks on them, ski for a week, and they’ll feel like feathers when you take ‘em off

Put a tv on both sides so your swing weight will be ok, you wouldn’t wanna fall off a rail cuz you only had tv’s on the front

I have 3 71’ in tvs and 1 84’ I guess i just cant nosebutter dub cork 2 but whatever

Pound a couple Big Macs before you go skiing. The heavier skis will seem normal if you are also heavier.
