2022 line chronics quality

I just got a pair of line chronic skis and I was wondering if they are really that bad. In my opinion I thought they looked like a perfect east coast ski on paper but I’d like to hear peoples opinion on them. Let me know if you’re speaking from experience please.

And the Line seasonal Red Scare has commenced....no experience here, but a recent thread had someone buy them that were too short for him and chipping.

IDK about the 22's but I just chipped my 21's doing butters on carpet so kinda iffy

we’ve been over the fact that line sucks, it’s better to support brands with higher quality, attention to detail, and better warranties

It really is a red scare lol. OP you be alright, Detune underfoot before you hit rails and you'll moat likely get similar life out of them as you would most other skis. Also, people who complain about top sheet damage on park skis are posers.

You never been to Tell a friend tour huh? Line definitely cares, they support a lot of skiers who are less well known and put out good content like TC. You can criticize the quality of their skis all you want though.

Personally rode Chronics aggressively in the park for 3.5 season before someone stole them. If they didn't get stolen I'd probably still be riding them today. A lot of people shit on Line for bad quality but I never experienced it.

Honestly I think not many people are talking from personal experience about this and I feel like a lot of these comments are influenced from a new thread saying how bad line skis are.
BagOTricksPersonally rode Chronics aggressively in the park for 3.5 season before someone stole them. If they didn't get stolen I'd probably still be riding them today. A lot of people shit on Line for bad quality but I never experienced it.

line has been supporting street skiing longer than any other ski company and continues to do so in a huge way

I got some 2021 Tom Wallisch Pros and they are great. The edges are really thick and the base is a high quality sintered base. Line has the new "tough top" topsheet that supposedly reduces chipping. I haven't chipped mine too bad, but I only have about 10 days or so on them. Just detune your skis, wax them, don't keep them outside, and they will last a long time. I have a pair of ninthwards that still have all of their edge in them and I have 4 seasons on them I think. They weren't known for being durable either.

I get not every brand is gonna have 100% reliable skis but I've had 3 pairs of Lines (2008 invaders, 2017 Tw pros, and 2020 Tw pros) and never had any major issues. I'm definitely a bit bias but this is my experience with them: Got the invaders in college super cheap but lightly used and put them for everything (mostly park, but streets and a fair share of rocks) and still have them today as a backup. The 2017 Tw pros weren't ever my favorite but only just recently the edge started separating out on the tail and are definitely still skiable. The 2020 Tw pros have been amazing and will definitely ride them until they they blow up. Just my 2c

I'm probably in the minority here, but I've said repeatedly that I have had both the previous edition and the new edition line chronics and they've been bombproof for me. If you don't think I ski on them hard...

my nickname in my family is shrek, because of how I'm so heavy handed in everything I do. So I ski on my planks the same way Lol

Line has a pretty good warranty, the edge of my bacons started to bow out from the base after hitting a bunch of rocks last year and they honored the warranty nearly two years after buying them.
