Heres a couple images i jacked from a tyrolia vid about the new attack2 bindings.
There are definitely some differences compared to my current 2020 attack2s in the toe piece and at least visually the 2022 attacks pictured seem to have a deeper recess in the toe piece for the boot lip to fit into. It looks like the wings wrap around further on the sides too.
Some ppl did have complaints about the original attack2 bindings which came out iirc in 2018-2019, saying they were getting prerelease in the toe and that the toe was sliding out on hard mute grabs and high torques. This problem seemed to be put down to the afd being either defective/self loosening or not adjusted tight enough.
But i hypothesize that tyrolia may have reworked the toe piece of the 2022 attacks so that it cups the front of the boot more and doesnt allow any prereleases to happen, even if the afd is not adjusted perfectly.
idk. Any of you guys gotten the new 2022 attack2s shipped yet? Id be curious to see what they looked like in person.
