Is there any way to rehab a wool hat that got put in the dryer?

In case you havent noticed, dolan is a collossal fucking retard and does stupid shit like putting his wool hat in the dryer. Its still reasonable but im wondering if there is any way to sort of bring back the elasticity/springyness the hat used to have. I will dol out secksual favors if anybody gives me good advices.

I can stretch it back to the same size as it used to be but it used to feel springy like an elastic headband but now its not quite as tight on my head. Im curious about the above posters comment on warm water and shampoo; will that make the elastic feeling come back?

i threaded an elastic band into the base of the hat. So its all good now.
