Okay so my question is about your ski base angle and edge angle and how it works together to create an angle.
So I’ve read up online a lot and I’ve seen some confusing stuff. A lot of people talk about base bevel and edge angle separately but touch very little on the total angle. Here is my question:
Say I put a 1.5 degree base bevel. Wouldn’t this put my total edge as a 91.5 degree angle? Then, if I put in a 2 degree side angle, it would drop my total angle 2 degrees to 89.5 degrees. Therefore, I’d have a 0.5 total edge (90-0.5 = 89.5). And a 1/1 would be a 90 degree total edge angle.
Am I correct in this calculation?
