Demo bindings or regular

demo attacks are actually pretty legit, the demo aspect wouldn't bother me as much as the 11 part-- attack 11s are built differently than the 12s and up, they are made for younger smaller noobs so they're weaker and they have a pretty intense ramp angle i think (like, the heel piece is higher than the toe piece to force you to lean forward). if you ski hard in the slightest i'd prob grab some replacements. regular attack 12/13/14 would be a great choice!

I was always used to directional skis, then I picked up a demo pair of some beater park/freestyle skis. It let me adjust the mount points A LOT, I could try out different spots to see where I liked it and gradually build my way to a center mounted ski

With the ramp angle, what aspect would that affect when I'm skiing? Also if I were to get a new pair of bindings would they have to be put forward or backward due to these bindings already being mounted. Thanks for your help!

hard to say i guess. basically just imagine you're standing on your skis, these are set up so that your soles are tilted forward a little to encourage you to lean forward. definitely made for kids/beginners but it's hard to say if you would notice or dislike it much

yeah, if you get a binding with the same or similar mounting pattern (i don't remember if the demo attacks have the same mounting pattern as the regular ones), you'll need to move up or down a little to do the re-mount. worth considering

i mean, those bindings aren't just going to explode out of nowhere. but they are made for smaller younger noobs and you're a full size guy who says he wants to do park, so it's possible you give them more abuse than they can take and you want to trust your gear. and since regular attack 12/13/14s can be found for such good prices i think you might want to go that route

use the bindings you have mounted. if your DIN is less than 11 then they will work fine unless you do something to F them up and if that happens you can buy new bindings

yeah re-reading my responses, i should be more clear: you can totally ride on these, so if you're sweating it or don't have extra money to spare, don't worry about it too much unless you're going really big

I think the attack 11s will be fine but iirc they have a higher stack height due to the demo versions adjustment rails they sit on.

id just scoop some prev gen attack 13s bc they will last you forever and get you untold amounts of poon
