@danbrown my latest tattoo. I’ve been here long enough I figured I have earned my strips. My wife drew this up and now it’s stabbed onto my leg. The unicorn is Scotlands national animal, I’ve never been drunk before and the barley/malt is why I am here.

your wife is talented and that is awesome I love it
ReturnToMonkeySo I should turn my phone a little even though that's the way the land naturally slopes?
yeah it's hard to tell in pictures like this because of the slopes on the horizon, but i can tell you need to rotate the frame a little counter clockwise. it'll make your picture way more pleasing to look at

Yup if you learn the rule of thirds, level with the horizon, and leading lines your landscape photography will almost always improve overnight.
That is a really great photo, if you crop/rotate it, it's screensaver worthy imo

Agreed, I get what he’s saying about the slope but he needs one dead level horizon line to orient the viewer, nice pic tho otherwise
@SofaKingSick @profa_212 @Casey
I rotated it to try to make it more level and then tweaked the colors a little: no idea what I'm doing haha but thanks for the tips I appreciate it a lot

Not to nitpick but I think you overdid it slightly🤣 I mean that’s way better obv but I would play with it a few different ways because you have a ton of horizontal lines in the wheat and ridgelines to draw off to create a ‘line of best fit’ so to speak. I mean I’m only saying this because the pic is worth the effort to dial in. 👍

ahh yeah the colors look way more overdone on my computer than my phone. I don't mind the nitpicking, it's how one gets better right
