This is my sis and bro in law almost at the same exact spot 5 years ago. Don’t get to ski with them very often either but is always fun being with family!
A huge (124-page) alcohol reform bill that I’ve been working on for 1/3 of my life (12 years) passed the Senate unanimously today. Really hoping we can make it through the House and get the Senate concurrence vote this year so it can finally help thousands of Alaska businesses. I’m exhausted by this damn bill, but it’s so important. Cheers to a small victory today.
Oh, and I’m working stupid hours this week (20+ hour days) to get some huge projects done while staying on top of this crazy legislative session. Thankful for my second in command for randomly bringing me delicious food and making sure I actually eat everyday this week.

I knowwwwww, I know. I needed a mental break while my food was heating up. And now, I've maxed out my brain power for the night, so I'm waiting for my truck to warm up so I can go home and crash for 2-3 hours before getting the kiddos up.
