SlushSeasonThe volvo 240 was built from 1974-1993 with minimal changes to styling. It's still a desirable car 30 years after production ended, with people driving them until they literally rust apart. The appeal is timeless to anyone that appreciates wagons.
Calling an 8 year old SUV timeless makes no sense. There hasn't been any time for tastes to actually change. 8 years is a pretty common length for a generation and almost any car introduced in 2016 still looks good today.
i would agree the 240 is timeless. however name another car that has yet to under go a true face lift in 10 years that looks nearly as good inside and out as the XC90? Cause the Q7/5, X5, Escalade, Navigator, Lexus RX all look dated in comparison.

BallClapperSo does this place cater to people who can afford to have at least two places? Weird
No. They were founded in Vermont. And over the early years opened more shops in a few states including Florida. They’ve been around for a long time so they built a customer base. Like I said my parents shopped there when they were kids. So if you lived in Florida but took ski vacations this is where you got your gear. They have all kinds of clients but most are locals

Online they sell water sports gear too along with some general running and trail stuff as well. But in store they’re about 85% ski gear, 10% snowboard and 5% roller blades/one wheel electric scooters.
They have like 6 or 7 shops in Florida and one in Georgia as well. Only certain locations have a tech shop that does work. They’ve been around for like 60+ years now so they have a strong presence in Florida. And being the only ski shops in Florida they have the monopoly on the market.
They’re busy year round. Picked up my skis yesterday and the tech area was loaded with work. A few people getting fitted for boots and a good amount of people buying clothes.

most volvos built after 1999, and any volvo built after 2010, is dogshit and should be avoided

Used to have one a stones throw away from where I used to live in Miami
Knew it was going to be Peter Glenn. My hometown in South Carolina used to have one. That was my ski shop growing up.
They actually have a decent bootfitter in Columbia, SC. He’s a foot doctor and has a ski shop attached to his practice but he’s kind of a dick.
