Sup NS, been a while.
Been thinking of getting the 22 Armada Stranger, since I tried them for a couple of runs and really fell for this ski.
Anyone here riding them and having some opinion on mounting etc.?
Are they any good for an occasional park lap (jib and a lil bit of kicker)?
For park days I will keep my CT 2.0's, but I'd kinda like to have a nice "skiing ski" too.

I only have one day on the ski but I was super impressed by its hard snow performance especially for being a 100mm waist “freestyle” ski. It definitely felt mounted a bit too far back at recommend. Seems like 2.5ish cm back from center of contact points would be ideal

It’s not a freestyle ski. The design was intended to make it a fun carver similar to the Sakana. Athletes on their team ski it in the park but that is not it’s intended use.


OP, it skis really well on groomers. Holds a good edge for how wide it is. The recommended line is pretty far back, like -10 I think. Some people are moving up pretty far, I know Mike Hornbeck rides his at the center of the contact points but this will tank the edge hold if you’re concerned about that. Fun ski for sure but not a park ski by any means on my opinion.

cheers! yeah I wouldn't really hit the park hard on these, mainly for those "just skiing" days with non-park skiers and slushy spring runs end of season. side hit fun and transfers. with the more mid mount like hornbeck it might feel better in the air.
I also rode them a bit further back
if I get a good deal I'd might get them.

This is a fair point, freestyle skis do not necessarily equal park skis.
