who fucks with tea?

I used to be more of a coffee guy but my GF put me on to Matcha pretty recently and it bangs, less of the coffee jitters and anxiety but I still feel enough caffeination to satisfy my addiction... a good black or green tea can hit too.

also I have been a conneiseur of fine herbal tea blends for health and well being. I frequent Lavender/chamomile blends in the evening and that shit is relaxing as fuck and it tastes good. also anything from https://www.highgardentea.com I fuck with because they are all organic and make blends for specific health benefits if you want

I used to down a giant mug of thick ass black coffee every morning but I finally got to where it starting making me feel really sick so I had to quit. I am a tea guy for sure now. Personally, I like Irish Breakfast because it has a bright taste and a lot of caffeine. The best tasting tea by a long shot IMO is Mate Factor's Mocha Mint.


Studies have shown that drinking ginger tea every day boosts your testosterone levels so I drink that after lunch each afternoon. It tastes really good too. Chamomile is really nice for ending the day, especially if you are reading a book. Back in the day I used to drink Chamomile when I was hung over and it helps you feel a little better at least.

I still have coffee in the morning but at other times I have Green tea mostly. .. and peppermint tea when my allergies are bothering me. Its a natural decongestant and calms the stomach down. I'll have ginger tea right before bed.

I like yerb but it gives me a stomach ache now. I used to drink it out of the traditional gourd but I kept accidentally sucking down the leaves and it was making me sick.

I love that Guayaki canned shit tho

Back when I worked for a Broker I used to make a tea with 2 bags of Tension Tamer and 3 bags of green tea and called it my "Office Speedball". If you look at the ingredients of Tension Tamer it has Siberian Eleuthero. It is a really cool herb that regulates your adrenal gland so you have more energy and dont burn out from stress. Russian weightlifters use it a lot. I ended up just getting the supplement as it was easier to pop a capsule then drink the tea. Its actually really good for skiing.

I usually just get variety packs, both herbal teas and caffeinated teas. I've also been drinking this black tea with maté called morning thunder and scottish breakfast tea. I like take a tumbler full of one of those to my afternoon class for a nice boost. Still a big coffee guy as well though.

allergies were fucking my yesterday and I made some peppermint tea and shit cleared up pretty nicely

Peppermint is so good. I also keep York peppermint patties in the freezer for a refreshing decongestant treat.

Fuck yeah tea rocks. So many options for tea. If I'm using bags, Bigelow is my favorite for cost and flavor. Otherwise loose tea is the shit. Use an electric kettle and brew one glass or many.

Also be careful with tea. It's one of the oldest methods of extracting and delivering drugs. Depending on the tea you drink, it does have pharmacologically active ingredients, but usually not an issue in reasonable quantites. Short story, wife bought me this big thing of loose tea from the store. I'm like sweet smells great. Go read the ingredients..."St. Johns Wort" was one of them. Probably means nothing to most of you but it's a potent inducer of our body's most common drug metabolizing enzyme, meaning it causes it to work more, and results in significant drug interactions. I've seen a few other bad ingredients in common tea but that's the worst to date.

I love chai with oat milk, I have whole spices and loose leaf black tea, I grind my own every day. I like mixing up the ratios based on mood, weather, etc. I also like making it for other people and guessing what spice ratios will match their vibe. They usually say it is bang on but they could well just be humouring my dumb ass and choking it down, I dunno. I also really dig bengal spice, and have been making my own but it is never as unbelievably good as celestial seasonings.

Chai hits, honestly any spice tea for that matter does tho. I really wanna go to India and try a ton of chai there, like I've read that the ratios and recipes of the spiced like vart from region or city and even down to like family recipes

I really want to go to india for that reason too, I would love to tour around and just drink chai. Ever read Shantaram?

Ooo sorry I didn't mean like that. I just mean it's a really good tea that's too good to explain. And it looks cool. Comes as these little tightly wound balls of black tea. They unravel as they steep and produce an exceptionally smooth tea that is almost buttery to the taste.

matcha is the best. Make sure its good quality as bad matcha is a little risky. I'd avoid chinese matcha completely. Only concern I have with daily matcha consumption is the fact tea plants uptake lead from the soil, among other contaminants. Pique tea makes tea crystals which apparently solve this issue. https://www.piquetea.com/

Goddamn I haven't had oolong tea in years til yesterday. So smooth. I also learned you can steep it multiple times depending on the type of oolong tea.

Also growing chamomile is easy af, looks like daisies, and makes a nice tea.

I love how tea drinkers buy more tea than they finish and always end up with a huge collection in a cubboard somewhere. It's the only grocery item that piles up before the old ones get finished.


I'm not trying to be a hater I think it's great. My favorite tea is African Roobios.
