New Pow Skis

Finally making the move out west to Colorado this year and looking to add a set of pow skis to the quiver. Currently have a pair of Reckoner 102s as daily driver/park skis but looking for some real pow skis that I could maybe do some short tours with too.

I’m 6’2 195 and looking for something more freestyle oriented, doesn’t have to be a “hard charger.” Currently have been looking at the Line Outlines, Armada 116 ULs and Armada Whitewalkers. Any other ones you guys would recommend or that I might be over looking?

Appreciate and insight. Stoked to finally be getting out west!

Don't get the JJ ULs, they're way too soft for inbounds skiing, once the resort is tracked up you're not gonna have the most fun on them. The Whitewalkers would be a better idea. I'd look at Moment Wildcats, ON3P Jeffrey 116s, Bentchetler 120s, Faction Prodigy 4.0s...

I'm gonna be in the same boat as you next year and I was honestly thinking of getting a reckoner 112. I love the 102 so a wider version sounds pretty fun.

I was thinking about those too. My only hesitation would be at my height and weight, I think they only make them as big as 184, and idk if 112 at that length would make them a true “pow” ski with enough float?

Jeffery 116 (now 118) are absolutely incredible for inbounds tracked/untracked pow. They are solid and sturdy and damp. Super easy to spin and slash. JJ UL I'm very interested in other people's experiences because I'm 6'3 and 200 and got the 185 UL with pivots and cast and I'm worried that I'll just get bucked by little bumps everywhere. I'm sure ill just use them for touring in deep pow when it comes but anybody has any input on the JJ ul id really appreciate it. I would have gotten the 192 but the version I got only came in 185 so I'm shit outta luck I guess.

I live in CO and have a pair of Prodigy 4.0s they are pretty much perfect for everything except for super cruddy days.

I have a pair of outlines that are my daily drivers and I can't say enough about super fun ski. I'm also about 6'2" 195 and rock the 186 cm

Im getting the outlines I think! I also want to recommend the new Majesty Vanguard, which is fantastic, with flat camber too❤

Woah those Vanguards are sick. A bit pricy though. Appreciate the insight. I’m leaning towards the Outlines or the Whitewalkers at this point.
