GMBYeah I wouldnt recommend commuting from the NV side to Squaw. That would be brutal.

theabortionatorEspecially on a pow day. A lot of the pow days I just rode Northstar because I was there after work booted up ready to go before any or many people even made it up from the village. Days I didn't ride I'd see the gnar backups all the way to Kings Beach coming to the mtn.
Days I rode other spots was off, or got up early, stayed with friends close to said mountains and left early enough to get it done.
Glad to hear that it sounds like OP found a spot. Def becoming less about $$$ and more about even finding a spot. Tahoe is cool though. Also nice sunny bluebird days in the winter are always dope, and being able to skate a lot in between storms is always cool. Also reno is always an option as well as the skatehouse in south lake.
