So I was setting a base bevel and edge bevel. 1.5 base and 2 edge. I was going to town. Really cutting a lot of edge off which I’m not particularly worried about because I think these skis were just left at factory and never touched. I checked the factory tune numbers and it’s pretty minor compared to what I’m doing. Plus the edges were super banged up.
My question is: how do I know when I’m taking too much edge off? I can’t find anything online addressing this with side edge. Marker technique isn’t telling me enough.
