Anybody have a ultra high frames per second slow motion camera?

Digging around it seems like the freefly and the chronos are much more serious than the typical high speed cameras from sony and friends.

was wondering if any of you guys had a really good high fps camera you would recommend.

He’s going to zoom in real far and put a thin layer of snow on a piece of acryclic glass and put the camera underneath and a thin layer of snow on top of it and then ski over it and he’s going to see how different waxes control different snowmelt under different bases

Idk i feel like theres so much gun shit you could film in super slow motion. I guess i didnt expect it but i wouldnt have been surprised

You can buy a much better camera with like 240fps 1080p and 4k 60fps for $5k, its such a niche camera, id be surprised if I even knew anyone who owned one. 300fps is usually slow enough for 99% of situations.

For skiing and sports yea you basically never need more than 240fps but to get dope videos of fruit exploding from a gunshot and that type shit you definitely need more fps

But maybe theres some cool stuff you could do with a 1000 fps. Idk tho— a bullet moves at least 1000 feet per second, so if you filmed it at 1000 frames per second it would look like it was going a foot in between frames which would suck. Apparently you can up the frame rate if you sacrifice resolution, but it seems go big or go home is the answer.

But im not ready to drop 150k on a camera right now because its destined to become a very competitive youtube niche fairly soon i imagine.
