WoFlowzFrom what Ik the lanes with the rope tow you have to pay extra to ski. But there is a public park which runs back down to magic mile till that snow melts then it’s just a hike park. Someone correct me if I’m wrong
bradwaltersYou can't ride the camp's lane with the rope tow but the public park that is accessible by Palmer lift is a go!

switchlip2How’s the public park??
bradwaltersI've always kind of preferred the public park over the private park at hood.
theabortionatorThe way it was explsined to me was that the ftc will replace the camp parks and camps and people who pay for the ftc pass will share that. There will be a public park as well.
Looks like the ftc upgrade isn't too bad. I think they're also building a pipe that's another different thing and super pricey for people training pipe.
I was just talking to the park manager last week but I've also never ridden hood in the summer. I think the ftc runs for 5 weeks late june to end of july or early august.

Paul. Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, this is exactly how it works
switchlip2Seems nice. Me and the homies also thinking about going to copper as well
rojo.grandeIt’s like an extra 20 bucks a day to access Windells if you own spring pass. Summer specific pass I don’t know shit about.
imo, late April and all of May is the best time to go unless u got a crew for late summer and don’t mind either hiking or shelling out shit loads of cash
skinakedfastIf you’re thinking about it and can make it happen do it. If you have never ridden Mama Hood it’s life changing. It’s so big and has so much to it, you can get off the mile and ski as far as your eye left or right, you can camp up there, you can build booters, you can do whatever you want with your skis on up there with beautiful weather and vibes. The park is always on point, but go there to experience Hood and all it has to offer. Go camp the Air Strip and swim in Trillium with some new friends then wake up and ski whatever they have open during the months you rarely have your skis on.
weastcoastNot sure if you’d be allowed since you’re still in school but you’re welcome to come with me Next may. You too @rojo.grande

hdubsDoes timberline have day passes in the summer or do you just have to shell out for the full pass
DummyBearsI saw $1250 on their site which is fucking stupid in my opinion for a month of skiing. Its 33 days total and assuming you dont rest at all and ski even if it were to rain and be awful out your still looking at $37/day to ski. Doesn't sound bad but its expensive to skip days. Spring seems like a way better deal. Not to mention I could buy three season passes for less then that for the winter granted summer skiing is rare and a novelty.
edc_19According to the site, they have day passes, both for just the public park ($89) and FTC ($110) https://www.timberlinelodge.com/mountain/freestyle-training
DummyBearsIt says June 28-july 31
