Is flexibility important?

im stiff as shit and cant touch my toes, do you think I should start doing exercises to get more flexible? Will it help with skiing?

Yes ^^^^^... If you really wanna get a good stretch, get one of these bands. They really help you get the maximum stretch in as well as improve your flexibility. They give me a better stretch than any other stretching exercise. I really can't get a good hamstring stretch without them. Green is the perfect amount of resistance too

Flexibility prevents injuries.
To improve it, its a lifestyle change. Drop weight, do yoga, running, pick up rock climbing and include stretching in your plan. It takes years to get it back, then willpower to maintain. Its no simple fix and it will suck. But, the benefits outway the pains

Not only will help with skiing, as you get older and continue to be rad it’s super helpful to be able move without everything hurting all the time.

Absolutely important!
Being flexible and strong enough able to bouce back up and recover from a crash is very beneficial especially when you get up there in age.
