Can I take my intuition wrap liners and put them in other boots?

Title. Thinking about getting new boots next season simply because I broke about a dozen full tilt cables this year and I’m tired of it.

also does anyone know of any boots that would fit similar to Full Tilt TW Pros? Looking for something with a tight heel and a semi open toe box so my toes don’t get crushed since I downsize by 2 sizes.

Ya you totally can. Compared to intuition, all other liners are shit. I have two pairs of brand new never used liners that I have no use for because I just use the intuition pro wraps.

I have intuitions and I have zipfit liners. I love the tongue of the zipfits and the shoe of the intuitions. Realistically I should just sell both but a big part of me wants to find a seamstress and try to make a frankenliner.

I have never head of someone putting their clapped out liner in a new boot. Usually the other way around....But ok.

What is supposedly better about intuition liners?
Id assume its in the best interest of a boot maker to make the best liners possible for the boots they sell, and are probably fitted to pretty tight dimension tolerances of the shell

Threw a pair of the new pro full tilt liners in a FT Seth Morrison pro model from 8 years back. How the buckles are still working, no idea, must have been USA made, ha! They tight but they packed down over some uses.

Real answer: maybe, maybe not.

An Intuition Power Wrap liner is not some magical thing that will work in any boot with any foot. In order to fit properly, a liner needs to be made with the shell & cuff lasts in mind. You can't take a super thick liner and put it into a low volume shell if that shell is right for your foot. And you can't take a super thin liner and put it into a high volume shell if that shell is right for your foot.

Whenever you are looking to swap liners around / looking for an aftermarket liner, you need to find the correct version for your boot and foot combination.

I wear my boots so tight/small that I don’t want to get new liners and make my feet suffer for 3 weeks because they’re not packed out yet. New boots suck because it’s new liners, even if you heat mold them. I downsize by 2 so this is why it’s an issue to just get a new liner.

I put a Race intuition liner (FX) in my atomic hawx ultra and it gave me a little more volume over the top of the foot and toebox. It also makes the boot feel a bit more damp (not wet but in terms of ski feel). They are a bit lighter and warmer than the stock liner. They seem to dry faster as well.

Not sure how stock full-tilt liners compare.
As mentioned, visit a bootfitter before all else.

I've done it, if you are on a budget and the old liner gives you a better fit than the new one it's fine. A beat ass intuition can still be nicer than a paper thin POS that is packed out after 20 days.

Intuitions aren't perfect but tons of people love them, they are highly moldable, have a longer lifespan and are typically lighter than a stock liner. Manufacturers like to cut costs, stock liners can be pretty shit but the average person won't know or care about this. The minority that need a better fit out of their liner will upgrade regardless of the quality of the stock liner so there is no point in catering to them.

I’m more intrigued by the fact that you break the cables I’ve been riding FTs for years and have yet to do that. Does it happen while you’re skiing or while by ours booting up? Also, Matt @onenerdykid is correct. The liners that come out of FT boots aren’t just stock Intuition liners, they have been constructed by Intuition in conjunction with FT to specifically fit their boots. If you really want new boots, I’d suggest sucking it up and breaking in the new liners that come with your new boot of choice. The FT liner from your TWalls won’t fit the same in a different boot. Even if the last is the same (99mm), the internal shape of the cuff and the lower won’t be the same.
