1) would there really be a difference between the full tilt kicker and drop kick, (let’s pretend they both fit me fine)

2) will boots that fit me paired with wets help me nosebutter? i like to think the reason i can’t is because my boots are too big and they suck but i have edollos and my nose bud is like half an inch off the ground

Do your feet move around. When you butter and specifically your ankles? Is it a little is it a lot? Also edollos aren’t super soft skis you will need to put some effort into buttering them

i always have to double sock and my heels and ankles lift a lot. and yeah armada lied about how soft they are

Yeah man you should definitely see a boot fitter. A bad ski with good fitting boots will ski a lot better than a good ski with bad boots. Not saying the wet or edollos are bad skis. And the wet will help with how easy it’ll be to butter

Also dollos were supersoft when they first came out, noodly park skis exploded after that.

I used to have to do this until I sized down and got a smaller waisted boot. Get better fitting boots and break them in it will help a ton with your confidence

any tips on breaking them in? i won’t be buying boots until the end of summer but might as well ask now

Throw them on sit there and watch every SLVSH video ever made. Jk but not all that kidding if you don’t heat mold them you just have to use them until they’re your boot dude. Some of my friends don’t heat mold and just deal with the pain until they’re broken in.

Sometimes its tough so many people don’t live near a good fitter and most bootfitters not in big markets right now have zero inventory so it’s near impossible for some to go to a good fitter or find boots in person right now

That’s why I dont go to a boot fitter ever, I’m from the Chicago suburbs, really isn’t much out here

They definitely didn’t lie because they are soft skis. It’s probably your technique. We’ve all seen the ON3P team butter the Magnus and the Jeffrey and those are stiff as hell compared to the Dollo. Boots that actually fit will help a little bit but 90% of doing proper butters is either technique or owning Blends. I skied a Blend for a week and could do sick nosebutters but I got back on my CT 3.0 and couldn’t do it for shit because I don’t have the technique down. Wets will help too since they’re soft and light but once you get the body movement you can pretty much do it on any ski.

You definitely could need smaller boots. I wear a size 11/11.5 shoe depending on the brand, which is a 29/29.5 in mondo sizes.
Fitted ski boots though are 27.5.

Whenever I do a tail butter for more then like 2 feet my boots loosen massivley
