Those of u in uni, how often do u get to ski?

I'm a sophomore in college and just hit 100 days for the first time. If you can budget your time you can ski a lot

30ish days a year during college and like 60ish back in high school.

probably hit 40 days a year when i was in uni. If you make it one of your priorities you can def get out there a bunch.

I skied the least I ever have this season, Junior year, combined with Covid regulations and my whole house getting it, I think I skiied maybe 20 something days. Luckily tho I skied the most street I ever have so still feeling stoked. I also live 2 hours from the hill I ski at so that's a contributing factor.
I'm only taking 3 classes next semester so I'm trying to turn it around and ski the most I ever have in a season.

I got 46 days in this season, 26 at “real mountains”. Pretty damn good for living in Ohio I think. Thank god for online classes, honestly skied the most this year out of any year, got multiple trips out west.

I have a 3.9 and I ski at least 3 days a week during the season, only bummer is the season is pretty short where I go to school

Not in post secondary any more but When I was it was 4-6 days a week. I went to a university where the resort was a 5 min drive away, and set my schedule up so I'd have as many days as possible with a few hours to go skiing. Usually there would be about a full week when I'd have to go hard in school with no skiing at some point to get everything done.
I also didn't party or drink much, which let me get schoolwork done so I could ski. I saw a lot of people just stop skiing or snowboarding because they were so hard into drugs and drinking.

How close will the hill be? Get involved with the ski and ride club if there is one at your school, or start one. Sometimes you can use a school vehicle for trips to ski.

Engineering student here in ut. Last year, before I was doing classes mostly in my major, I could get out 2-3 times a week. Now that I am mostly doing engineering coursework, its more like 1 day a week average. Some weeks I get 2, some I get none. Depends on how heavy studying has to be.

With online classes I got 50 days this season, during real school I was lucky to get 25 but I also didn’t try so hard to go.

Very dependent on how early on in college you are and what your major is. I have a freshman business major friend that skis every day of the week. I'm freshman in CS and I can usually pull 3/4 days a week when I got a light work load.

it’s about 30 min away i think, but ya i was definitely gonna try to get involved somehow, even if it’s just trying to organize some carpools with the homies and offering to pay for gas

Actually tho, don't skip class to ski. Think about how much you pay for tuition and break it down into how much each class costs to attend basically.
Anyway, I always was able to make my class schedule allow for as much skiing as possible while taking 16-18 credits. Usually I had most of Tuesday and/or Thursday free to at least ski for most of the day. My other classes, I scheduled so it would force me to do a couple classes on the same day I do most of the homework so it frees up study time like on the weekend and to get part of a day on the occasional Friday or Monday. I averaged like 2-3 days a week with some weeks more and some weeks none.

I was able to ski as much as I wanted this semester so like 5 days a week due to being online for most classes and hardly Having any class time per week, as well as barely any hw. Next sem will be a lot tougher though, that being said when my harder classes pick up I still think I’ll be able to ski at least 3 days a week

Also I’m living at home still commuting to my campus which happens to be on my 45 minute commute to my hill. So if you’re without a car or have trouble covering costs for gas you’re probably gonna be limited to a day or two a week

twice a year but i go to school in Boston so its mad expensive and such a commute with mad hw so it just never works out

3-4 days a week, like half my day’s I make sure I had late classes so I could ski in the am and then come back for class

On track for 75 this year, and that was with me going home and not skiing for a few weeks at various points throughout the year. FWIW I took 12 credits and did an internship

When I was in college in Tahoe, everyday if I wanted. I usually went around 3-4 days a week though to give my body rest. Also, some days I would just have some lunch laps or something if I was busy.
