Line blends? Or Vishnu wets for the steez?

Hello, I am either getting the Vishnu wets (soon as of pre release) or the Line Blends whenever I can get my hands on a new pair. I am just starting to get into park (coming from a freeride background, but would like to throw tricks all around the mountain someday) and I want something jibby, Vishnu’s are super rad but I need more opinions. Give me more ski options too. I’m not 100% on the Blends or the Wets! ❤️

If you're a freerider then wets might be too unstable for you, either go with blends or wides. blends have nearly full camber though so they're not gonna balance on butters like the wides. If you're okay with 106 underfoot then go for wides

This I can jib around hard on my pluses cause they are real soft anyways and still go Mach 10 and lay carves as long as it’s not icy

I figured with them being apart of a freeride family and a fairly softish flex theyd be a good option cause they can still be skied somewhere other than the park

blends have a huge problem with delamination; mine starting falling apart on me after the first week riding them, and into my second week on them a rail took my edge right out. worst part is that line has terrrrrible warranty coverage, and after breaking two weeks after their first use, I had two broken, delaminating skis that were uncovered regardless of the fact that sloppy manufacturing and construction were solely responsible.
I have seen five people i know experience these same damages, then being left to either spend money on another pair of skis, or finish the season with a broken pair of planks. terrible company and a complete waste of money. buying from line is like rolling the dice

I've owned blends and wets, wets are definitely better skis overall. But as people have said, if you're coming from a freeride background wides or wet+ would probably be more fun for you.

Wets are great for doing little jibs all around the mountain, but def aren't the best skis for boosting floaty 3s off of natural features, you'll want a more stable ski for that. If you can afford them, ON3Ps are def better suited for skiing on variable snow and charging around the mountain, Magnus 102s or Jefferys might be the call if you're used to skiing aggressively.

Those or a Jeffery pro model. The Jeffery would have to come in a 102 or 108 cause I don’t ski anything under 100

Yeah but I feel its inacurate for people to be saying that when they are defintly stiffer then a ski like the chronic which is commonly thought to be a mid soft ski. They are not super stiff but when people say they are a softer ski its just not true

I’m 6’2 so I want 189s, so I’m kind of turned off by the weight the 189 wides will probably be, and the wet plus graphics aren’t really my thing. So it leaves me wondering if the wets will be enough...

I would say blends are a little bit better on jump landings, but the wets are 100% better and higher quality skis overall. If you land right, you will be fine on wets. They are a lot firmer underfoot with a nice thicc sidewall, which gives you a greater feeling of confidence than I had on blends.

I wouldn't worry too much about the weight on the wides, there is no way they are any heavier than a comparable pair of ON3Ps.

The hard truth about about weight and stability is that heavy skis are more stable. That's why race skis are heavy af.

I’ve owned both. Both super fun skis but the blends lose stability faster over time while the wets remain pretty poppy. Also, the blends durability doesn’t even compare to vishnu. The wets are pretty bombproof, I have got quay few edge cracks in my wets but my blends did much worse. Half of one of the sidewalls fully ripped out and I snapped the tip and tail of one of the skis. so overall I’d say the wets are better skis but the extra width on the blends does make them more versatile
