Bending pivot and fks brakes

my wets have brakes on them that are designed for 65 or 70 underfoot race skis

A 7mm difference between the brake width and underfoot won’t be to bad but idk if it’s worth bending or not

That’s going to be huge. Pivots fit really big. I had 84 underfoot with 95s and they were pretty big. The 95s even feel big on my 95 underfoot skis.

I bend mine up so they don’t catch whenever I pedal the fuck out of a rail or carve so my homie on an 88 with 115 with them bent up

115 brakes (probable about 123mm wide in reality) on an 88 waist ski will be huge no matter how much you bend them in. The "shoulders" of the brake arms will be so wide that I would think you're liable to catch them any time you try to lay an edge on hardpack, and they're probably even wide enough the catch the brake arms on each other if you're riding with your feet anywhere close to one another. I guess you could disassemble the brakes, bend the arms straight, and then put a new "shoulder" in closer to your skis' waist, but at that point you're better off just getting narrower brakes.

Probably going to end up going the first thing again but more extreme. My 95mms feel a bit wide on my wets so I bent them up and in and had no problems
