Honestly a super good attempt, its a lot of feeling for a b2 to get the timing right since you aren't really looking at the end of the rail when you throw it. You gotta feel for the last second you're gonna be on the rail and then throw it but good work committing to the uphill spin, I know that can feel weird when you aren't used to it.

To add to the advice posted above, you need to have patience on the rail. Focus on relaxing and being as calm/smooth as possible when you're trying anything but especially a trick like this. You're doing 95% of it right and it looks great. As others said, wait until the end of the rail to pull your spin around. Keep in mind that your shoulders should be leading every rotation with your head spotting where you're trying to land. Your body will naturally follow wherever your eyes are looking (They teach you that in drivers ed).

A few further pointers on back 2's/backside spins in general.

-you wanna make sure your noses clear the rail on the way out. The 2 ways to do that are go body boner and point them upwards, as well as carrying decent speed into the rail to minimize the time you're close to the rail and spinning.

-back 2's and 6's almost always end up with you landing backseat if you're not on top of it. Focus on your head and shoulders staying forward during the pop, spin and landing so that you land without toe bang or backslapping. especially on a rail with a bigger drop off the end

-Initiate the spin when you get onto the rail. your shoulders should be slowly rotating a bit from beginning to end of the rail without actually popping for the spin (think of it as a wind up). Then when you get to the end of the rail, just snap it around. Doing it this way will set you up to get back 4's and beyond.

-Find some videos on YT or NS of your favorite skiers doing backside spins and watch how their body moves from takeoff on the rail all the way to landing. A lot of what I said here will start to make more sense.
