Skateboarding is sick, I just picked it up 2 years ago in Australia. I suck but shit is fun. I started with ledged but now I just wanna ride bowls.
Also usually go southern hemisphere winter but missed the last year and this year because covid. It's fun to be able to go ride almost year round. I'll miss it. Will likely do hood spring pass finally, but I've been fucking SLACKING on park this season. Have built some shit, but my riding has been garbage. I'll try and step up if I make it to the hood.

I'd love to get a bike this summer. The Yamaha Tenere 700 looks like it's gonna kill every bike in the adventure market. Screw Michigan insurance though. No accidents, no points on license and it would cost me 95 bucks a month to insure.

Currently I am riding a little custom Honda Rebel 250 here in the UK. Gets me back in forth to work and I can cruise around some of the lochs here. I shopped for a dual-sport but couldn’t find one in a reasonable price range so I stayed with the cruiser. I have a few HDs and a KTM 250sx back in the states in storage ready to ride when I get back. You can’t go wrong with the trail 90 or Yamaha 200 if you are looking for a little trail machine to take you around. @cydwhit just got him a trail 90 and is pimping it out, they are little tanks and they have ran that particulate style of motor all the way from the 60’s to now(some small mods throughout the years). I think all the manufactures are making a pretty good dual-sport now so you really can’t go wrong with either, it’s a give me Rossignal or give me Head type of thing.lol
I prefer to NOT be around stinky Hood ski gypsy's when I'm trying to enjoy a glass of Oregon's finest. Though I do have a favorite Hood River winery that is owned by a pretty ripping old skier.
Gonna go home to Minneapolis for the summer, got a chill job set up at a local park. I’m very excited to skate in the city again though, street skating is so fun, just linking some buddies and spending the night riding around downtown hitting spots- ugh you can’t beat it.
I’ll also hopefully be able to Boulder too- that’s kinda just how I stay in shape, coming off a minor hand injury though so I really gotta hit that harder.

That was 7 days worth of sluicing and panning in 3 different waterways. I just started this spring, so I did not come across any bonanza strikes yet.
Its not to hard to start, but its backbreaking work. All you need is a long spade shovel and a panning kit for 30$.
Next is the research: type Mineral Inventory [your state/ province] and look for maps. Once you find a waterway thats near a gold mine, or an old placer waterway, start digging.
I go much further; I have been cataloging and mapping all the mines around the Kootenays, grabbing some specimens and look around the site for stuff they left behind.
The whole idea is to go for walks and hikes and have a good reason to be there. Its not uncommon for me to walk about 10miles and gain/loose 2,000’ in elevation, in the middle of the forest and no trails or roads every 3rd day.
Whats neat too is when the terrain is right, put a DH bike trail down it and you get to enjoy it over and over again
Mountain biking, I’m also trying to get into WW kayaking. I bought a playboat a few years back and never really got to use it, but this year I’m planning a trip to go paddle some rivers in WA.
A lot of skateboarding, some hiking, and cliff jumping.
