Skis like OG CT 2.0

What's good fellas,
So 3 years ago I asked ya'll which planks would suit me best, and I eventually bought the Faction CT 2.0, which was the best decision so far, but now they're starting to look like an abused B-dog edgeless (No joke the edges popped out like morning poop). That said, the follow up question is quite simple. Which skis feel similar to the OG CT 2.0, but are still something different?
I'm a playful yet aggressive skier. I also ride park, predominantly jumps. I like to ride fast and chargey at times, but still like to butter and hit sidehits all around the mountain, and if there's at least decent powder, you won't see me anywhere else. (no pow/bad conditions: 60% park 40% groomers - If the conditions allow it: 100% pow/off piste)
I charged the CT 2.0's quite often to the limit, they felt edge on edge, but at very high speeds they weren't confidence inducing to go faster. But that wasn't a dealbreaker for me, since they had that playful feel, which I absolutely loved, and still felt solid. But they lacked a tiny bit in pop later on.
So the skis I considered were: Line Chronic, K2 Reckoner 102, Line SFB, Faction Prodigy 2.0 or 3.0, new CT 2.0 (but hesitant about it) Armada ARV 96
I'm aware that these are all completely different skis.
With my preferences I think the best solution would be to go with a 2 ski quiver. (groomers/park and pow)
Line Chronic for park/groomers & Prodigy 3.0 or CT 4.0 for deeper days?
I'm completely open for brands or models I didn't mention.
I suck so much at deciding, since I don't want to buy some random shit, so I'm very thankful for every response.

They don’t make them anymore but K2 marksman could be up your alley. Butter able quit easily once broken in. Fun on groomers fun in pow. Super fun in slushy. And I personally like the wider ski in the park. I like them they do get a bit chattery at rly high speeds if it’s firm or crud

Idk what the candides are like but I ski these and seem to have a similar kinda skiing/ what I do and thought they could be fun for you

Ya I’ll second this. Went from the ct 2.0 to the marksman and found it to be a super easy transition. Once you get used to the extra weight, (went from a 172 ct 2.0 to 177 marksman) I feel like the skis behave in a similar way. Still pretty flexy at the tips and tails but way more solid underfoot. The marksmans are super surfy and like previously stated, can handle basically you throw at them. You might still be able to find a pair for sale if you dig as they only stopped making them after 2019.

Thanks bud. Funny you mention them, at the time I bought the CT 2.0's the Marksman were on the list as well. They actually do look interesting, but haven't even found any recent offers online.

I've never tried them but Twoowt Dyed Sticks have pretty much the exact same shape as the older Candides

Yeah you're right, could actually be worth a shot. But I think Twig said they're not as great on groomers as the CT 2.0 and these online distributors I have to buy from (I'm from Switzerland) don't have these in stock. But thanks for your suggestion

Chronics are honestly the most similar to ct2.0’s out of the ones u mentioned. I’d go Prodigy 2.0’s 100 times over the chronics tho for u, line skis durability is shite

Also sorry to the other dude but marksmans don’t seem like the ski u want. They are good all mountain but they don’t have a good flex pattern imo and the heavy weight is like the opposite of the old ct 2.0’s

Yeah, I wouldn’t say Chronics love to go fast. The camber and soft tips mean you lose a lot of speed when carving too

Being someone that's personally gone through multiple pairs of factions(3.0s and 2.0s) and Line SFBs I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for the best longevity. They are all really fun but the fun only lasts so long.

For something that rides similar to the 2.0 and SFBs but has a better reputation for durability I'd highly recommend the Reckoner 102s. They're pretty light which I found similar to the 2.0s and had a fun flex profile similar the the sfb, if not better.

Im glad you wrote this, cause I'm seriously considering pulling he trigger on the Reckoner 102's. Either those or the Chronics, but as you mentioned there are quality issues and they seem to have less personality than the Reckoners.

All Faction skis are now made and assembled in the Fisher ski factory so build quality is on a different level than before. Much more consistent quality on all their skis and many models like the Candide are completely different skis now.

The 2021 Prodigy 2.0 would be a great ski for your narrower ski with better performance at speed vs your old 2.0 but similar weight and playfulness. Wouldn’t have quite the float of your old 2.0 if you just stayed with one ski but perfect in the park. The 2021 Prodigy 2.0 and 4.0 would be an awesome 2 ski quiver for you.

The 2021 Prodigy 3.0 adds some weight and stability vs the new Prodigy 2.0 or your old CT 2.0 and well as improving float performance as well. I’d go this route if you wanted to stay with a one ski quiver as it would be nice upgrade all mountain without being way more work in the park.

Possibly the Volkl revolt 104? Seems like it'd be a good fit for you. (Disclaimer, I haven't tried them yet. Just bought myself a pair and I'm going to try them at Hemel Hempstead to see Piste/Park performance. And I give abhorrently poor advice when it comes to skis.)

Chronics are really really fun in the park but I wouldn’t say they’re great for charging. Like the flex is amazing in the park but I just don’t think it translates well to rest of mountain.

Damn the Revolt 104's also tickle my fancy, as well as the Reckoner 102's. I wonder if other people also make such a big deal out of buying a new pair of skis lmao

Just gonna say that for me they work super well everywhere on the mountain but people have different skiing styles.

I think we all want to avoid the feeling of regret after the first few laps on new skis.

if your style is swerving at max 30 they are quite fun, hence I use them at our indoor, but they dont like speed.

I read you got to experience both the Revolt 104's and Reckoner 102's and you said the Reckoner feels like a noodle compared to the Revolt. Are you a rather heavy guy? That said I guess the OG CT 2.0's are more comparable to the Revolt 104's if I'm correct.

6'3 240, very few people cut in fron of me at lift line or apres :p

yes the revolt 104 will be much closer to OG CT 2s

Damn! You'd only need to fart in my direction and it'd blow me away. lmao I'm 6' 165
I'm somewhat sure the Revolt 104's would suit my needs best, given the descriptons so far. But something in me is very attracted to the Reckoner 102's and I'm still figuring out whether it's the stupid or the sane part of me.

your light enough that you will love the reckoner 102 as well, and not too tall. so for you , you actually have a choise ;)

its win win, you will love both.

Just noticed my fav and local shop Corbetts which does amazing sales in the Spring has lots of 177cm and 184cm Reckoner 102 stock on for $419.99 CAN/$340 ish US right now and they ship free. Great deals on bindings too there.
